CONVENTIONAL POWER PLANT

STRATIGRAPHICS has provided CPTU-EC-S (Piezometric Cone Penetration Test with soil Electrical Conductivity and Seismic shear wave velocity measurements) exploration services for numerous conventional coal fired power plants throughout the Midwest.
We recently worked at a large generating station  for Golder Associates in north central, Indiana to support evaluation of ash ponds at the site. STRATIGRAPHICS provided services using its 24 ton truck mounted CPT rig.

We provided CPTU-EC-S (with seismic shear wave velocity measurements) for Reitz and Jens at a power plant  south of St. Louis for a  Flue Gas De-Sulpherization Project and for ash pond embankment evaluation. STRATIGRAPHICS provided these services using its 24 ton truck mounted CPT rig.

We provided CPTU-EC-S for Black and Veatch at a new power plant site  near Blythesville, Arkansas.  The work was performed to provide data for the geotechnical design of the new plant. We used our 24 ton truck mounted rig to perform the work.

STRATIGRAPHICS performed CPTU-EC-S and dilatometer testing for Terracon at the power plant  south of Omaha, Nebraska. The work was performed to provide data for geotechnical design of new structures at the plant. We used our 24 ton truck mounted rig to perform the work.
